Are You Getting Enough B12?

Adopting a vegan life style or a strict plant base diet, may require extra nutrients to ensure you are getting the essential vitamins and minerals your temple needs. B12 is an essential vitamin that our bodies needs in order to function at optimal performance.  Consider increasing your intake of nutritional yeast, fortified foods or taking a vegan B12 supplement.  Vitamin B12 is primarily found in animal products.  B12 is crucial for our nervous system and the functioning of the brain.  You could be deficient if you have depleted your storage reserves of B12.   The lack of vitamin B12 can cause damage, you may feel tingling or pins and needles in your extremities, sleeplessness, constipation, light headed,  or muscle weakness.
